Bordentown Bond Referendum: Bringing State Tax Dollars Back to Our Schools

Posted Date: 10/15/26 (09:00 AM)

Your state tax dollars have helped school districts across Burlington County improve their buildings in the last five years. Now, Bordentown has an opportunity to bring some of those dollars back to our schools.

The districts shown on this map have benefited from $121.6 million in state aid – your tax dollars – through bond referendums since 2021. If voters approve the Nov. 3 bond referendum, Bordentown will receive $29.3 million in state aid to address aging infrastructure and reduce the share of project costs paid by local taxpayers.
