Guidance Program:
The Bordentown Regional Middle School Counseling Program provides emotional and social development support for all students. Our main focus is to work with students, parents, teachers and administrators to build a community of learners who work to their best academic potential, exhibit accountability and good decision-making skills. The counselors strive to help students build a strong positive self-image that promotes the self-confidence needed for academic and social success.
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT SERVICES:
- Consultation with parents/guardians
- Monitoring of student's academic progress
- Consultation with School-Based Administration and Related Services
- Coordination of the Intervention and Referral Services Team
- Consultation with Child Study Team
- School Test Coordinators of NJSLA State Assessments
- Individual and Group solution-focused counseling for students
