Algebra 1 Prep Work - Summer

All students going into 8th grade entering Algebra 1 should consider spending some "rainy day" time over the summer reviewing concepts learned this year in Math 7 or Math 7X.  This work is not mandatory, just HIGHLY suggested.

1. Solving Equations - Students should be able to solve various types of equations (multi-step, variables on both sides, etc.).  This is something you can find materials on the internet by googling.  You will easily find videos, notes, and worksheets (most have answer keys to go along with them).  I will let you find these materials on your own, there are tons out there!

2. Multivariable/Literal Equations - Students should be able to solve for a variable and or a solution to the system.  Work and videos on this topic can be found below.
