2018 Bucket List | Coffee and books, Book aesthetic, Book worms

The purpose of this course is to provide a solid foundation for the study of language, literature, composition, and how the three are intertwined.  Throughout the class we will be reading and writing across various genres—short story, poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction—as a means of understanding the craft of reading as writers” and “writing as readers.”

Through a workshop model approach to learning, we will be reading, analyzing, and studying various genres of literature in order to discover the intricacies of each text and to create our own written pieces in reflection.

The overall goal of the class is to become knowledgeable persons in the reading and writing community who possess the ability to analyze, reflect, challenge, argue, improve, discover, craft, discuss, and love language, literature, and writing across various genres.
