The Bordentown Regional School District will have presentation on February 5, 2025, to discuss the Feasibility Study. This will take place at 7:00 PM in the BRHS library.

Please join BRMS Student Council in our First Annual "SOUPer" Bowl Challenge. Our hallways throughout the school will be competing in our own "soup/or" bowl collecting canned and non-perishable foods for our three local churches' food banks/kitchens. It is very hard to believe, but we are approaching the halfway point of your child's 8th grade year and final year of middle school.  The end of the year will become very busy with various events taking place and preparations underway to transition into high school, so we are reaching out now with information on our end of the year 8th Grade Field Trip to Hershey Park.  We are on a very tight timeline with our reservations, so we appreciate you taking the time to submit payment and paperwork by the requested deadline in the letter. Please click on the title above to view the permission slip. We will also give a hard copy of the permission slip to students at lunch so that they can bring it home to you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The link above takes you to a Google Slideshow that is played in our cafeteria and in the hallway all day. When the slideshow is updated, the link is updated simultaneously. Our students get to see this on a daily basis, families can up to date information that the students see during the day.

Please see below for a few updates regarding staffing changes at BRMS.

Technology Education:
Mr. Poole will be retiring on January 31st. Mr. Poole has been a tremendous educator at Bordentown Regional Middle School and although we are sad to see him go, we are excited for him and the next chapter in his life. We thank him for all that he has done to make the Woodshop program at BRMS such an amazing opportunity for so many students throughout the years. Taking his place in the Woodshop will be Mr. Sean Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham is currently a Special Education teacher at BRMS who holds a certification in Technology Education as well and is more than qualified to move into the role in Technology Education. We are excited to see Mr. Cunningham work in this new role with our students.

Special Education:
Since Mr. Cunningham will be taking over for Mr. Poole, that creates a vacancy in his classroom for a portion of the school day. At this time, we have hired our own staff to cover his two of his classes and Mr. Cunningham will be sharing the information to his students and their families about the teachers who will be taking over for him for the remainder of the year. Our goal is to hire a Full Time teacher in this position as soon as possible.

English and Language Arts:
Ms. Gagliardo was recently selected to be the Bordentown Regional School District Supervisor of Literacy and Language Arts. Ms. Gagliardo has made an amazing impact in her role as a teacher, and we are excited to see her work in this new role across the district. We are in the process of finding her replacement and she will remain in the classroom until we find a replacement for her. As we know more about our transition plan, Ms. Gagliardo will communicate that out to her families.

BRMS is proud and excited to hold our annual RAPS Talent Show on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Any student interested in participating in the show must complete and turn in the registration form to Mrs. Fitzsimmons no later than Friday, January 24th. Click on the title above to view the form.
