About Me

Welcome to a new school year!!  I am excited to start out this year with a great group of students.  I am teaching three grade levels first semester. I look forward to exploring various areas of science throughout!  I will post the topic/ content area we are exploring each week for each grade level.  Simply click on the correct link on the left-hand side to see which phenomenon your child is delving into this week.  I rarely assign homework as a standalone task, but do require work to be completed at home if it was not able to be done in school.

Core 1:  8th grade

Core 2:  6th Grade

Core 3:  7th Grade

About Me...

I have been teaching in Bordentown for over 20 years, which is my entire teaching career.  I

taught at Clara Barton.  I moved on to MacFarland for a year to teach 7th and 8th  grades, only to move yet a second time

to what is now the middle school.  Everyone always asks how I can teach “middle schoolers” and I cannot think

of a better age group to be with all day.

I am a mom to three very energetic children.  DJ is 15, Kaitlyn is 13, and David is 9.  They keep

me very busy, but are also a great reminder of how children absorb everything around

them.  I love to see the look on their face as they discover new things!  This is the reason

love to teach.

I grew up in South Jersey, so am a Philly fan ‘til the end.  I love to watch sports and still play

as often as I can.
