My Bio

I was thrilled to join the BRSD staff in July 2014, as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant with the Child Study Team.  My career in education began in 1986, when I was hired as a special education teacher in Monroe Township, NJ.  After five and a half years, I left teaching to become a per diem consultant for SRA-McGraw Hill and a part-time LDT-C for various districts.  In 2008, I was hired by the Educational Services Unit of Burlington County Special Services School District.  During my employment with ESU, I worked as a case manager in three different districts while completing evaluations throughout Burlington County.  I also held the title of Inclusion Facilitator and conducted workshops for different districts throughout each school year.  After leaving ESU, I worked at the Riverside/Delanco School Districts for two years as an LDT-C.  In addition to certification as an LDT-C, I have certificates as a Supervisor,  a Nationally Certified Education Diagnostician, and a Reading Specialist.

I have a husband, three adult children, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Holly.  In my spare time, I enjoy walking, reading, baking, sewing and completing daily NY Times crossword puzzles.
